Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and flexible, while also respecting our clinicians' time and availability.
To avoid a cancellation fee, appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time. This reasonable notice ensures we can offer the appointment to another client on our waitlist and maintain continuity of care. If you become unwell or circumstances change on the day of your appointment, a telehealth session can be offered instead, provided you are well enough to participate. This option allows therapy to continue and can help avoid a cancellation fee.
Key points
- Please give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel.
- Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may be charged 100% of the fee.
- Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health funds.
- NDIS cancellations follow the current NDIS cancellation rules.
- If cancellation fees remain unpaid, further appointments may be placed on hold until the balance is settled.
- We can arrange telehealth if you cannot attend in person.
If unexpected illness, emergency or other exceptional circumstances arise, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that life happens, and flexibility will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
